On 1 September 2019, Commissioner Shen Beili attended upon invitation the opening ceremony of the “Mao Zedong Emerged in China” photo exhibition. Shen officiated the event and visited the exhibition with Macao Chief Executive Chui Sai On, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC Ho Hau Wah, Director of the Liaison Office Fu Ziying, Deputy Secretary of CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Wu Lan, Macao Garrison Political Commissar Sun Wenju, and Head of Mao Zedong Study Division of China Institute of CPC Literature Research Lu Jie.
Through valuable photos and replicas presenting the miserable and glorious history of China in modern times and the arduous and magnificent endeavor of the Communist Party of China, the exhibition aims to encourage Macao compatriots to make greater efforts for the prosperity and stability of Macao and the motherland.
