On 13 November 2019, Jia Guide, Director-General of the Department of Treaty and Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Chan Hoi Fan, Secretary for Administration and Justice of the Macao SAR Government held annual consultations on Macao-related foreign affairs on treaty and law in the Macao SAR. Deputy Commissioner Wang Dong attended the consultations. The two sides reviewed achievements of Macao-related foreign affairs on treaty and law during the past 20 years and specified outline for the next year. They also exchanged views on some other specific issues and reached consensus.
During his stay in the Macao SAR, Director-General Jia Guide was also invited to deliver a report on the current international situation and hot issues of international law for civil servants and attendees from legal profession in the Macao SAR .
