On July 10, Commissioner Mr. Liu Xianfa granted exequatur to Mr. Rodrigues Muebe, the new Consul General of the Republic of Mozambique in the Macao SAR.

Commissioner Liu welcomed Mr. Muebe to take office in Macao, stating that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mozambique 50 years ago, the two countries have always trusted and supported each other and the friendship is as solid as a rock. Commissioner Liu hoped that Mr. Muebe will actively promote exchanges and cooperation between Macao and Mozambique in various fields, and make more contributions to the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Mozambique.

Mr. Muebe stated that Mozambique attaches great importance to its relations with China and the Consulate General will work actively to further promote new achievements in exchanges and cooperation between Mozambique and Macao in the fields of economy, trade, investment, culture and education.
