She said that the 15th Five-Year Plan is not only China’s blueprint for development and a list of opportunities for the world, but also provides new opportunities and opens a new journey for Macao to achieve better development. The Commissioner’s Office will, in line with the development objectives and tasks of the 15th Five-Year Plan, concretely implement “diplomacy benefiting Macao” and fully safeguard the long-term prosperity and stability of Macao. She hoped that foreign representatives in Macao will continue to serve as witnesses to Macao’s development, as well as active participants and narrators of its success story.

The guests extended congratulations on the convening of China’s Two Sessions and the adoption of the Outline of the 15th Five-Year Plan, and commended China for maintaining policy continuity and stability by drawing up and executing medium- and long-term plans. They expressed readiness to present to the international community the bright prospects of Chinese modernization and the successful practice of “one country, two systems” in Macao, and support the city in expanding international communication and cooperation, and enhancing global reputation and influence.
