On April 24, Commissioner Bian Lixin visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), and exchanged views with Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng on deepening cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

Ji Xianzheng welcomed Commissioner Bian for her visit and gave a brief presentation about the Permanent Secretariat and its key tasks. He also expressed the willingness to strengthen communication with the Commissioner's Office, give full play to the Forum's role in promoting bilateral cooperation, with the aim of building a more solid and broader platform for cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
Commissioner Bian commended the important role of the Permanent Secretariat in promoting the development of Macao as a platform and cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. She said that the Commissioner's Office will continue to support the work of the Permanent Secretariat, to better leverage Macao's role as a bridge, deepen all-round and mutually beneficial cooperation between Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries, and promote the overall relationship between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries to a higher level.
