On May 29, Commissioner Bian Lixin met with Eric Teo, Consul General of Singapore in Hong Kong.

Commissioner Bian noted that Macao and Singapore maintain close exchanges, with a solid foundation and broad prospects for cooperation. This year marks the launch of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and Macao’s 3rd Five-Year Plan. We hope Singapore will seize this opportunity to elevate both China-Singapore practical cooperation and Macao-Singapore exchanges and cooperation to new heights. The Commissioner's Office stands ready to further strengthen communication with the Consulate General and offer support and assistance.
Eric Teo noted that Singapore and Macao enjoy a solid cooperation foundation and immense prospect in sectors such as trade,investment,digital economy,health care,tourism and leisure. Singapore is ready to further tap cooperation potential with the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and promote more outcomes of the bilateral pragmatic cooperation.
