On June 24, Commissioner Bian Lixin Met with Phoo Pwint Ko Ko, Consul General of Myanmar in Hong Kong.

Bian Lixin noted that China and Myanmar are traditional friends, neighbors and a community with a shared future. Macao and Myanmar maintain close exchanges with a solid foundation for cooperation. She said she looks forward to working with the Consul General to deliver on the important common understandings between the two presidents, continuously strengthen exchanges and cooperation between Macao and Myanmar by fully leveraging Macao’s advantage in its connectivity with both the mainland and the world, thus contributing to the building of a China-Myanmar community with a shared future.

Phoo Pwint Ko Ko said that she would continue to promote exchanges between Myanmar and Macao in all areas, and work for closer ties and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides.
