Commissioner Bian Lixin Met with Consul General of France in Hong Kong

On July 14, Commissioner Bian Lixin met with Christile Drulhe, Consul General of France in Hong Kong.

Bian extended her congratulations to Drulhe on the occasion of Bastille Day. She noted that the China-France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has continued to deepen and become more substantive under the strategic guidance of the two heads of state in recent years. France is an important source of imports for Macao, and the cooperation between the two sides continues to deepen in areas such as trade, economy, education, and cultural exchanges. She noted that Macao enjoys the institutional advantages of One Country, Two Systems and its unique strengths in connecting the domestic and international markets, and hoped that the Consul General would maintain close communication with the Commissioner's Office and the SAR government, and play an active role in promoting continued progress in practical cooperation between Macao and France.

Drulhe said that the Consulate General is willing to strengthen communication with the Commissioner's Office and the SAR government, and further enhance mutually beneficial cooperation between France and Macao in areas such as trade, economy, culture and education to achieve more practical results.
