In her speech, Commissioner Bian stated that under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law, historical achievements have been made in building the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics in the new era. China has always been a staunch defender and builder of international rule of law, and has always ensured the successful implementation of "one country, two systems" in Macao in accordance with the law. Bian also outlined three expectations: enhancing mutual learning and exchanges regarding the rule of law to support respective national development; infusing new vitality into the evolution of continental law in keeping up with the times; and contributing wisdom to building a community with a shared future for humanity.

Participating scholars concurred that this Forum provided a valuable platform for exchanges on continental law, which has injected positive energy into promoting mutual learning between the legal civilizations of China, European continental countries, and Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as advancing the construction of a community with a shared future for humanity.
